I began my working career in the rural sector being employed by Fonterra at their Head Office based in their retail division, then moving to their Coal Mining Subsidiary. During this time I attained Finance and IT papers from Waikato University.
I then spent five years in the UK employed in various financial positions before returning to New Zealand with a husband and young family, embarking on a 10 year career in the private health sector. My role as Finance Manager for a group of medical specialists enabled me to use my skills and further develop my expertise to a level where my efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail were hugely beneficial.
I joined the Rylib Group at the beginning of 2014 and the move has been a positive one. The culture and environment that John and Kelly have created is brilliant and provides variety and challenges that I need and thrive on, and the new offices and rural outlook are an added bonus!
My role is varied to say the least. Financial reporting, leading the Office Team, liaising with key partners and being available to all staff all whilst ensuring the ship is running smoothly. No two days are the same. I take great satisfaction in streamlining systems and supporting John and Kelly to enable them to focus on 'the big picture' so they are not so tied to the office.
