I’ve been involved in the dairy industry since I was 17, and farming has been a huge part of my life ever since. It’s a career I’m passionate about, and I’ve enjoyed the opportunities it has given me to learn, grow and take on new challenges.
My wife Stacey and I joined Rylib in 2018, starting out on Kairoa. In 2023, we became an equity partner in the business, which was an exciting step forward in our career. In 2026, we moved across to Akitu, continuing to grow our role within Rylib and the wider dairy industry.
In 2023, we were fortunate to be named the Canterbury/North Otago Share Farmer of the Year through the New Zealand Dairy Industry Awards. It was a real highlight in our farming journey and a great recognition of the hard work and commitment that goes into what we do.
When I’m not farming, I enjoy keeping active through F45 and hockey, but most importantly, I enjoy spending time with my family. For me, farming is about more than just the work—it’s about the people, the lifestyle and continuing to build a future I’m proud of.
