FAIRMONT (derived from an historical land title) was our second purchase in 2005. This fit our blue print almost exactly as we envisaged it to be – 196ha milking 840 cows. Once both the broaderdyke and rotorrainer irrigation systems were replaced with center pivots Fairmont really hit its straps and currently produces 435,000 milksolids. James Martin and the team take great pride in Fairmont and although it has an older infrastructure it continues to be one of our highest performing farms.
