KAIROA (A long producer of food) was purchased in conjunction with Mahanga in 2013. When purchased this land was a 360 ha sheep farm owned by the late Hughie Haslett. This conversion was our biggest taking some 8 months, with new infrastructure for both farms, commonly known as our twin farms being identical layouts. Kairoa is now 176 ha milking 750 cows and consistently grows the most grass out of all our farms. Kairoa is one of our top performers and is managed by Jonathon Hoets and his team.
