Following secondary school I attended the Auckland Technical Institute where I completed my Administration and Business diploma, going on to work in the legal sector as a PA. Whilst overseas I worked as a PA in the structural engineering arena and upon returning to New Zealand continued in Sales roles that led to Management positions.
Once we had successfully navigated our way through the first four seasons of dairy farming I left work to concentrate on the family and really focus on growth opportunities, attracting the right people to our company and building the brand and culture that is so very important to us.
My role revolves around high-level strategic planning and brand growth together with day to day accounts in the office. Having created the Rylib Group from scratch, I recognise the challenges faced by those looking to establish themselves in the agricultural sector, and I use my own experiences – the lessons I’ve learnt and the knowledge I’ve gained throughout our journey to date – to provide direction to the rest of our team.
I play a prominent part in organising our annual Performance Awards and I’m passionate about seeing our people succeed and feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by so many dedicated, motivated individuals.
