As a kid growing up in Christchurch, I was always happiest spending weekends out of the city and on my uncle’s farm. My passion for farming was shaped one weekend at a time, laying the foundation for the career that I am proud of.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of holding a range of roles within the Rylib Group. Those experiences have helped me build a reputation for a strong work ethic, a practical approach, and a commitment to achieving high standards.
The most important lesson I have learned is:
“High-performing teams don’t happen by chance—they are built by investing in people, creating trust, and supporting one another to achieve their best.”
None of my achievements would have been possible without the support of my wife, Hannah. Life is made even more rewarding by our son, Phoenix, and daughter, Ava. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and supporting Phoenix in his motocross journey. Watching Phoenix grow as both a rider and a young man has reinforced my belief that discipline, perseverance, resilience, and teamwork are the foundations of success—not only in sport, but in life too.
